The July AI Show event featured three speakers showcasing the remarkable ways Computer Vision is solving practical business problems, and a few personal ones too.
First up, Peter Mangin has been one of New Zealand’s AI leaders for more than a decade. Peter takes us through the foundations of Computer Vision, how it works and the practical use cases in our personal and business lives.
Tane first presented at the AI Show a couple of years ago, showcasing Maui63.org, and how they’re using Computer Vision to track endangered dolphins from a drone flying between Raglan and Piha.
Inviol is Tane’s latest business, using Computer Vision to reduce collisions and improve health and safety in workplaces.
Fingermark were one of five companies around the world selected to present at the Nvidia developers conference earlier this year. Their remarkable Computer Vision technology is helping Fast Food businesses improve customer experience and revenue through Drive Throughs.
